Non-Fungible Sound gives each of the 10,000 CryptoPunks one voice, built from its own traits. Mint, and the contract draws a punk for you at random: its voice is generated right there and becomes an NFT in your wallet. One punk, one voice, once.
What is NFS
A sound you can own,
made from a punk.
Every CryptoPunk is a set of traits: an alien, a pipe, a headband. NFS reads those traits and turns them into a short spoken voice: pitch, vowel, rasp, what it says, and the world it says it in. Nobody recorded it. It was computed, and it always comes out the same.
One punk, one voice
The token number is the punk number. Punk #7804's voice is token 7804, and there can only ever be one of it.
Generated, not recorded
A 38 KB program makes all 10,000 voices from the traits. Its fingerprint is written into the contract, so the recipe can never be quietly swapped.
Drawn, not chosen
Each mint draws one of the punks still left, at random, straight from the contract, and you get that punk's voice. A mint costs $1.

Why not an MP3
An MP3 is a copy.
This is the original.
Most music NFTs point at a compressed file on somebody's server. NFS points at a recipe. The sound is computed from the punk at full quality, and it is tied to that punk forever.
